We are beginning to spread Meshcore around Eastern and South Eastern Washington.
I began with Mestastic a year ago and shelved it while living in North Central WA. Now, somewhat a renaissance, I’m flashing over to Meshcore and deploying companion nodes and a repeater (currently a Heltec v4, 500 mW in the Sunnyside quad. The G-2 (1 watt and 6dB omni) repeater is still packed away but will take its place soon.
This page is more a marker and will be fleshed out as I move along in the Meshcore world. I have added an IO group for more interactivity and documentation for what we are doing over here on the Palouse and surrounding areas. https://groups.io/g/palouse-mesh
Repeater is: Sundance Rptr (2,330 ft ASL)
I currently see adverts from 11 repeaters up to 85 miles out on 3 hops, but sadly only see directly, Tomer Butte, 13 miles East of my repeater, past Moscow.
My primary companion is on USB into a Windows client (Sundance-U).
I also have other companions on Bluetooth and mobile under the Sundance theme
But more will come to the Palouse soon.
