Revised: 8-3-2008 These 3k RPT files are reads/edits from the three 0520CWB / 2959-1 Extender/Repeater/HT radios that I currently own. I don't know if they need an extention but they read and write to the radios without one. I added the .hhr extension to help me keep track of all the data files. RTP1ORG.hhr is the original read from my main CWB with 2959-1 Repeater. This file did not allow frequencies below 150 Mhz to be entered. It is for 150-174 Mhz. Included are HEX and Text dump files. RPT14799.hhr is my edited version of the my original file from another CWB that did allow entries below 150 Mhz. It is marked 136-156 Mhz. Included are HEX and Text files. I changed nothing but the CTCSS and frequencies in Channel 3 (enabled by main programming Type1/no scrambling in each channel that you wish repeater capability. This file worked and I was able to use the Repeater perfectly well once the above was programmed into both the Repeater and main radio. XTRHH.EXE (V2.11 dated June 2, 1994) is the program to use on the above files to program the 2959-1 VHF or 2959-2 UHF Repeater (walkie talkie) inside of the 0520CWB. I used a 286-12 computer running DOS v6.22 and a Green County cable to program the Extender/Repeater. I have not experimented with Windows or a DOS window in XP or a faster computer on the Repeater side as yet. REMEMBER: always read your radio and save the file and write protect it. It can save you much grief and time later should something go wrong. I strongly suggest that you build your file from your own READ, using any of the files here as a sample. Writing my files may get you results that you do not intend nor want. Ask me how I know all this.
